Adele Dejak began her eponymous brand in 2008. She developed a love of fashion while growing up in Nigeria watching her mother and grandmother dress in magnificent fabrics and tribal jewelry. After earning a degree in law, she felt she wasn’t following her passion and went back to school in 2000, to study typographic design at the London College of Communication. She then moved to Kenya in 2005 where she began making her own jewelry from horn and brass.

Her handmade jewelry quickly created a buzz and she was encouraged to turn her hobby into a career. Today her pieces are enjoyed both locally and globally.
