Adunni Chair - Pon

The Ilé Ilà Adunni Pon contemporary armchair features bright yellow upholstery in two styles of the Yoruba textile Asò-oké, hand-loomed in Nigeria. This yellow mid-century modern armchair will brighten any sitting area while celebrating African modernism with an artistic wingback style.

Pair this modern lounge chair with the accompanying ottoman to create the perfect reading area. With a frame made from Nigerian teak, the Adunni Pon chair brings African materials and mid-century design together.

Founded in 2017 by architect Tosin Oshinowo to celebrate her Yoruba culture, Ilé Ilà, translated "House of Lines", is a lifestyle furniture line designed and handmade in Lagos, Nigeria. Oshinowo, who is known for designing the iconic Maryland Mall in Lagos, turned her interests in product design to create functional chairs that bring bright explosions of color into contemporary pieces while also placing them in a Nigerian-African context.

The Ilé Ilà aesthetic is fueled by a love of West African fabrics and hardwoods which form the basis for the brand’s expression and identity. Each piece is a celebration of African culture
