The Ilé Ilà Line Chair showcases vibrant Adiré textile on a clean linear frame. This mid century modern armchair, born from the Golden Age of design, features bold Adiré upholstery handmade from cotton. The fibers are dyed with indigo by local Nigerian fabric makers to create various designs and patterns using techniques based on centuries old West African traditions. Offered in a variety of prints and colors, this contemporary armchair can be easily changed or dry-cleaned bringing new life into modern home decor with its fusion of African tradition and modern design. With a frame made from local treated teak and mahogany woods and cushion fabrics made from a variety of locally sourced Adiré cotton, this chair works well in any open living space to create a relaxing atmosphere.

Founded in 2017 by architect Tosin Oshinowo to celebrate her Yoruba culture, Ilé Ilà, translated "House of Lines", is a lifestyle furniture line designed and handmade in Lagos, Nigeria. Oshinowo, who is known for designing the iconic Maryland Mall in Lagos, turned her interests in product design to create functional chairs that bring bright explosions of color into contemporary pieces while also placing them in a Nigerian-African context.

The Ilé Ilà aesthetic is fueled by a love of West African fabrics and hardwoods which form the basis for the brand’s expression and identity. Each piece is a celebration of African culture
