LIGHTWEIGHT DINNERWARE SETS FOR SALE

The lightweight dinnerware sets collection by Mutapo Pottery is filled with hand thrown pottery and ceramic decorative bowls. These tabletop pieces including handmade bowls and leightweight dishes have been designed since 1992 with expert clay-thrower Jairos Zangira and designer Marjorie Wallace. Located in Miombo Woodland, Harare, Zimbabwe, Wallace and Zangira hand spin each piece in the lightweight dinnerware collection. The handthrown pottery brand has reached international acclaim with its singular approach to porcelain. Porcelain is made from china clay and pottery stone, creating durability in each handmade bowl and lightweight dishes in the lightweight dinnerware sets collection. The lightweight dinnerware has unique patterns that are inspired by traditional basket weaving and African prints. The ceramic decorative bowls are designed and then hand glazed using the colors white with a range of blue shades. The handthrown pottery tabletop sets are suitable to give as luxury gift for a family member, friend or corporate client. After Marjorie Wallace graduated from Michaelis School of Fine Art in Cape Town, she returned to Harare where she furthered her artistic career by becoming an art teacher. Decades later, the hand thrown pottery brand Mutapo Pottery continues to inspire the tabletops of dining rooms internationally. From plate sets to bowls and large format platters, these ceramic vessels are simple ways to elevate the dining experience. Mutapo Pottery expanded their designs to cotton throw pillows, too.
