The Sisal woven wall basket is uniquely handmade by Zimbabwean craftswomen, from locally sourced sisal fibers that are wrapped and then stitched over tiny bundles of grass. The basket collection offers a contemporary selection of intricate styles of basket weaving found in Zimbabwe, including binga basket weaving, sisal weaving and ilala palm weaving. Zimbabwean master weavers use natural plant fibres and non-toxic dyes to handcraft each basket.
